Thomas "TJ" Rogers

HURON – Thomas “TJ” Rogers, 69, of Huron, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at Admiral’s Pointe Nursing and Rehab, Huron after a 9 month illness. He was born August 29, 1947 in Cleveland.

He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked for Northfield Race Track, Northfield, OH, and Thistledown Race Track, North Randal, OH, for about 20 years until retiring.

He enjoyed golf and Casinos as past times.

He is survived by his friend and companion, Patricia (Szuhay) Ross of Huron; daughters, Heather Rogers, Holly Miktarian (Chad Lengel), and Patricia Ross; a granddaughter, Thea Miktarian; a sister, Jerry (Don) Hartley, and sister in law, Nancy Rogers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J and Janis (Hart) Rogers; a sister, Jackie Rogers, and brother, Tim Rogers.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call Monday, April 24th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron.

Burial services will be Tuesday, April 25th at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Bluff Cemetery, Berlin Twp.
