Susan Marie (Woessner) Whitaker

HURON – Susan Marie Woessner Whitaker, 70, of Sandusky, passed away at her residence Monday evening, July 29, 2019, surrounded by her family.

   She was born November 7, 1948 in Sandusky.  She worked for the Huron City Schools for the past 33 years as a Food Service Director.

   She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Terry Whitaker of Sandusky; a daughter, Becky (Ted) Grunden of Bellevue; a son, Mike (Jen Bagley) Whitaker of Fremont; and two grandchildren, Jake (Liv Earnhart) Smith,  and Ethan Smith.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Helen (Meyers) Woessner, and a sister, Bonnie Green.

   Friends may call Saturday, August 3rd from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron.

   Burial will take place at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

   Memorial contributions may be made to “Sandi Lunch Fund” in care of Huron City Schools, Huron.
