HURON – Ronald Lee Bledsoe, 66, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Admiral’s Pointe Nursing & Rehab, Huron.
He was born June 8, 1953 in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident of Huron. He attended Huron High School.
He worked for several businesses in the Huron area including Certain Teed Corporation in Milan. He retired 5 years ago.
He was a US Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Peter Church, Huron.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing horseshoes, casinos and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Smith), married to for 42 years; his daughter, Heather Grooms of Huron; step-daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Zeadker of Sandusky; 8 grandchildren, Amber, Lisa, and Zach Harkey, Brennan and Brittany Silvis, Noah and Evan Woodruff, and Olivia Grooms; and a great-grandchild, Paisleigh Sidoti.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lillian Bledsoe; his stepson, Donald Harkey; and brother, Donald Bledsoe.
Friends may call Sunday, July 7th from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Man Street, Huron where services will be held Monday, July 8th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jeffery Sikorski officiating.
Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery, Huron.
