Richard "Dick" D. Connerth

HURON – Richard "Dick" D. Connerth, 87, of Huron, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

   He was born Dec 9, 1931 in Alliance, OH and has been a resident of Huron since 1969 from Lakewood.

  He graduated from The Ohio State University.  He worked for Glidden Company for 40 years retiring in 1993.

   He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Huron; a member of the Clifton Gaston Allen Masonic Lodge in Lakewood and a 32 degree Mason with the Valley of Cleveland.  He was an avid sports fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns.  He enjoyed wood working and traveling in his younger years.

   He is survived by his daughter, Janet (Fritz) Mueller of Huron; a son, David Connerth of Cincinnati; four grandchildren, Lauren Mueller, Hollie Mueller, Lauren Poole and Emily Poole.

   He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryjane Connerth in 2015.

   Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept 23rd at Scott Cemetery, Huron Avery Rd, Huron at 2 p.m.  A Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
