HURON - Phil Shannon Harris, 57, of Huron, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, January 7, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
He was born September 4, 1962 to Phillip and Tamara Harris. He was a 1981 graduate of Huron High school, where he played basketball and earned his nickname “Stick.”
He was a Cleveland browns fan, and also followed the OSU buckeyes and Cleveland Cavaliers. Phil enjoyed cooking, being outdoors especially by the lake, fishing, water sports and boating.
Phil is survived by his father of Huron, Philip Harris; his two daughters, Kaitlin and Kendall Harris of Huron; grand pup, Charlie; a sister, Thea Harris of Huron; Aunt, Karen (Tom) of California; uncle, James Harris of Sandusky; many friends, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
Phil is preceded in death by his mother.
It was Phil’s wishes to be cremated. A visitation will be held Saturday January 18, from 11:00-12:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron with a celebration of Phil’s life from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Huruon Eagles on Cleveland Rd West, Huron.
