Joann Norton Obituary

Huron- Joann Norton, 87, passed away on Jan 18, 2019, in Heartland Hospice Care.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

Joann was born in Waynesburg, PA., Jan 10, 1931, the daughter of Ralph and Mabele Rush. She graduated from Ellwood City, PA High School in 1950 and from Bowling Green State University in 1975. She worked as a teacher for 7 years at EHOVE and 19years at Ohio Business College in Sandusky, Ohio. She was a past Worthy Matron Order of Eastern Star, Past Cub Scout Leader and Girl Scout Leader.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Dr. Edward F. Norton of Huron, son Chris (Meleah) Norton, Houston, Texas, daughter Kimberly Norton-Raia (Michael) Delaware, OH and 3 grandsons Paul Raia, David Raia, and Matthew Norton.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mabele Rush.
