Gary Steiner

HURON - Gary R. Steiner, 78, of Huron, passed away, July 4, 2019 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky.

   He was born September 3, 1940 in Canton, OH and has been a resident of Huron for the past 40 years.  He retired from Pittney Bowes after 35 years of employment.

   He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Huron and was an active volunteer and was a volunteer working at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky for many years.

   He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Lee) Steiner of Huron; a daughter, Louise Steiner Clements of NC; three sons, Vince (Karen) Steiner of Marshallville, Oh, Terry (Melba) Steiner of NC, Larry (Debbie) Steiner of Cambridge, OH; and three grandchildren.

   He is preceded in death by his parents, Rueben and Mary Catherine (Totten) Steiner; a sister, Mary Helen Eggeman, and a brother, Larry Steiner.

   Friends may call Wednesday, July 10th from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron.  Pastor Pamela Sayre and Pastor Dick Kretchmar will officiate.

   Cremation will take place and burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, Oxford Twp.
