Donald E Doty

COLUMBUS, OH - Donald E. Doty, 88, a long-time Huron resident, passed away on July 25, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Don was raised in Huron where he lived with his wife Victoria Francis Esposito for their entire married lives. Don was a member of the Management Team at Chrysler’s Sandusky Vinyl Plant for 30 years and held other important positions within various area Corporations. Don was a US Navy Veteran and a proud member of Huron’s last six-man football team, he played Quarterback in both his junior and senior years.

Don was born on April 1, 1931 to Clyde and Emma (Smith) Doty; he graduated from Huron High School and married Vicky, his wife of 64 years, on October 1, 1955. He is survived by his son Bryan, his daughter Debra and their families, all of Columbus, Ohio.

Calling hours and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron.
